Christ Covenant and the Evangelical Presbyterian Church

Why A Denomination At All?

I (Pastor Bill) would answer that question with two words: relationship and accountability

Relationship: Being a part of the EPC gives relationships with other like-minded congregations across the United States: missional, Reformed and evangelical. In addiiton, we are enriched by being part of the Presbyterian family that reaches across the globe and through history - a multi-cultural and historical fellowship of believers. Across history, cultures and regions, we find a larger identity as we seek to be faithful in our own time and place.
Accountability: By being a part of the EPC, we are responsible to more than simply ourselves. In the faith that we hold, in the conduct of our finances and life together, in the mission that we pursue, there are working sturctures of oversight, encouragement and if need be, discipline. We are not making things up as we go along. We are not alone. And we have found that these things make the journey of faithfulness a bit safer.

Evangelical Presbyterian Church

Christ Covenant is a member congregation of the Evangelical Presbyterian Church by choice, not simply by tradition. As we considered our options for fellowship, accountability and mission, we were quickly drawn to this denomination that chose as their motto: In Essentials, Unity. In non-Essentials, Liberty. In all things, charity.

Beliefs

Our National and World Outreach ministries seek new ways to spread a great and life changing message, that Jesus Christ is the way, the truth and the life. Read more
