Christ Covenant Community Church

Middle and High School students are a vital part of life here at Christ Covenant.

Most importantly, they serve as fully-functioning participants in our ministry. You will see our students involved in the Worship Team, Audio Team, Setup Team, Rebuilding America and Children's Ministry. We simply could not meet together on Sunday mornings without the active involvement of our students.

In addition, plans are under way to begin twice-monthly Student Ministry gatherings that will include large-group fellowship time and relational time in smaller groups related to particular area schools represented. Long-term, we would aim to involve adults and university students with a heart and availability for Student Ministry in a growing collection of Student Ministry Missional Communities (see our Missional Community ministry vision) that would meet for Bible Study, discipleship and service. These Student Ministry MC's would then all come together at other times for large group events and missions.

We are particularly excited to support the ministry of Young Life in Fredericksburg. With club activities on many area High School campuses, their trained staff can be onsite and plugged into the world of High Schoolers throughout Spotsylvania County. On a personal note, I (Pastor Bill) came to faith through a ministry like Young Life when I was a high school student, so I deeply appreciate the impact ministries like this can have on the lives of our students and their peers.
